A Perfect Christmas!

We decided rather last minute to celebrate Christmas at Jay Peak. The condo rentals were mostly taken and the rates were very high so I was excited when I found Bruce's chalet on-line and it was available.

It was brown and crusty when we arrived but it started snowing the next day - this is a wonderfully cozy place to stay in surrounded by trees covered with snow. There is a gas fireplace that adds to the charm, and the kitchen and eating area were perfect - our family loves to cook so it's always a huge part of our holiday. There's even a pretty good market not too far away, and Jay Peak is less than five minutes away. The bedroom space is ample and the washer/dryer are on the main floor. The clawfoot tub was perfect for soaking in after a day of skiing. And it was great to have wireless! We will definitely be returning.

Great house for a family visit

This house was very cosy during our slightly rainy October visit. We were with a 10-month old baby and found it easy to create a little crawling area for her. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and we also used the bbq. We sat on the deck when possible as it gets a lot of sun.

The nearby pub is very friendly with good food.

Bruce was wonderfully helpful prior to, and during, our visit.

Great Place

My sister and were celebrating family birthdays and rented this house. We were 4 adults and 4 teenagers and it was perfect. Right from the start dealing with Bruce was easy and professional. The house is exactly as advertised, very comfortable with all the amenities you need.

I highly recommend renting this house as you are close to hiking and skiing.

Enjoy as we did.

A Wonderful Place

Our family really enjoyed our stay it was a perfect set up with plenty of space. The owner Bruce couldn't have been nicer and we will stay again next year for sure. Our children enjoyed the community pool and play-set just about everyday! Having WiFi and cable is always an added benefit. We preferred this rental to the one we had before. Hard water was an issue for us before but the water system was very good and we had no problems. The Palmer family from Florida can't wait to come back!

Awesome stay, so close to the hill

I stayed here with a group of friends last winter for some skiing at Jay Peak.

The hill is a 2 minute drive away, so that's fine. And if you drive the other way down the highway you hit the town of Montgomery where you can buy food at the great little grocery store there. That's maybe a 5 min drive too. Great big kitchen, I got my cook on.

This place is huge, lots of couches, lots of beds, sleeps a lot of people. I think they officially support 8, but we got in 10.
